Connecting women, creating safety, sharing stories and finding hope
We will be starting trauma-specific harm reduction approach group work with participants in early to mid-May. The recruitment of participants for the group phase is starting now.
This will be trauma-informed group work with women with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and problematic substance use. We will be taking a harm reduction approach, and it will be free for all participants who join.
The groups will take place at Opportunities for Independence at 1070 Portage Avenue.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
